There’s a lot in this month’s release, with the Spring Spotlight introducing a number of powerful beta features worth paying attention to.
What stands out isn’t just the volume of updates, but the continued shift towards a more connected, intelligent platform, where service, sales, marketing, and data all operate together.
Here are the April 2026 updates our team are most interested in, and why they matter.
AEO: Track and improve your brand visibility in AI-powered search
This update signals a clear move towards content that’s structured not just for search engines, but for AI-driven answers. For marketers, this is a shift from ranking pages to becoming the source of truth.
For teams already investing in content, this is a big opportunity if your data, structure, and CRM are aligned to support it.
Availability: Live for Marketing Hub Professional and Marketing Hub Enterprise.
Search is shifting fast. This is about structuring your content so AI can actually find, understand, and use it, not just rank it.

Service Hub: Help Desk notes, snooze, capacity and calling improvements
Help Desk continues to mature into a genuinely powerful service tool.
Recent updates like ticket snoozing, capacity limits, assignment improvements, and better note handling make a real difference to how service teams operate day to day.
These aren’t flashy features, they’re practical. They reduce noise, improve prioritisation, and help teams manage workload more effectively.
Availability: Live for Service Hub Professional and Service Hub Enterprise (see individual rollouts for per-feature details).

Meetings: index page, custom properties and "never log" controls
Meeting data just got easier to manage and govern. This one is great for the sales teams and service teams, anyone who holds lots of meetings.
Meeting data is now far more structured and usable. With a dedicated meetings index, custom properties, and “never log” controls, sales teams can better manage how meeting activity is captured and reported.
Availability: Live for all hubs and tiers.
Better meeting data means better visibility. This gives sales teams more control over what’s captured and how it’s used.

Contracts Object - Public BETA
The introduction of contracts (for Commerce Pro+) is a strong step forward in connecting sales and commercial operations.
With Contracts, Commerce Hub finally connects quotes, contract terms, and revenue in one place so you can manage renewals and amendments through Quotes and see their impact on ARR in real time.
We’ve already seen this implemented with great success for clients.
Availability: Commerce Hub Professional, Enterprise

The new contracts object is a game changer. Finally we can manage the full contract management lifecycle within HubSpot, providing us with an all-in-one platform to see the entire customer journey. A contract is created when the deal is closed won, no user intervention required. Contract upgrades/downgrades and renewals are simple to process from the contract itself and require very little in the way of configuration. I am excited to see how this feature is enhanced over the coming months.

Review Stakeholders with Buyer Groups - BETA
Buyer Groups bring structure to one of the most complex parts of B2B sales — multiple stakeholders.
By visualising relationships within a company and identifying decision-makers, blockers, and influencers, teams can take a more strategic approach to deals.
It’s still in beta, but the direction is clear: better alignment between sales strategy and real buying behaviour.
Availability: Sales Hub Enterprise, Service Hub Enterprise

Segments: Membership history and upcoming intro sunset
Segmentation has been strengthened with clearer visibility and improved governance. You can now track exactly when and why records enter or leave a segment through a Membership Changes log and CRM card, making list management and troubleshooting far easier. At the same time, legacy Segment Intro and AI suggestions are being retired (May 22, 2026), with AI capabilities now embedded directly into the core segment builder for a more streamlined experience.
Availability: Live for all hubs and tiers; sunset applies globally.
